Protests and demonstrations have unfolded in America and across the globe in response to the senseless death of George Floyd. Both major beauty companies and emerging brands have taken to their platforms to demonstrate solidarity with those on the frontlines and demand an end to police brutality against people of colour.
A US-based Woman-owned skin skincare brand BrightenMi is one of the brands showing solidary social media platforms.
“At BrightenMi, we believe in inclusivity, equality and justice for all. It’s up to all of us to make a change. As a small act of mobilization, we are donating across the following organizations fighting discrimination and injustice: NAACP Legal Defense Fund and Black Lives Matter. Together we are stronger,” read a statement on BrightenMi’s Instagram page.
We will all stand taller when we all stand together.
