According to several reports, Candylaurice’s cousin who is a form three student at Franky Comprehensive Secondary School in Yaounde, moved to the actress’s resident during the ‘No-school’ strike in the English-speaking regions of Cameroon.
On January 31, the child was accused of theft and was badly-battered by Candylaurice before she went to bed. Unfortunately for the actress, the child slept and never woke the next day (February 1).
According to a e-kwat.com source, Candy allegedly refused to rush the child to the hospital when she discovered her lifeless body the next morning. Instead, she called her husband, who’s a medical doctor who had left for the office to return home from work. He later confirmed the child was dead.
The source also added that the deceased student’s class teacher alleges reports that Candylaurice has repeatedly maltreated the child at home and the kid could hardly focus on her studies in class.
The case has been reported to the police and is currently under investigation.
