Cameroonian actress, Kelly Azia bags role on trending American TV series, ‘Black.ish’


Cameroonians have an extra reason to get excited about the next season of popular American TV, series ‘Black.ish‘.

Cameroonian actress, Kelly Azia just announced that she is part of the next season’s cast.

Kinnaka’s Blog is not exactly sure what role she will play in the American sitcom, broadcast on ABC. Kelly will be joining the likes of Anthony Anderson, Tracee Ellis Ross, Yara Shahidi and Marcus Scribner.

The single-camera comedy centers on an upper-middle-class African-American family. The series premiered on September 24, 2014 and in May 2017 was renewed for a fourth season, which premiered on October 3, 2017. Since the second-season premiere, the show has received critical acclaim, receiving many awards and nominations including a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress for Tracee Ellis Ross, Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for Outstanding Comedy Series, and a TCA Award for Outstanding Achievement in Comedy.
