A Port Harcourt based Nigerian man, Victor Johnson shared loved up naked photos of him with a man he called his boo.
Obviously not borthered by the Nigerian anti-gay law which carries a 14 year sentence, he captioned the photos;
“Spin it, spin it hard, spin it the way you spin it on ur boo, Cool Evening… thinking east… Thinkinh osha & Awka.”
In May 2017, the Reuters reported an increase in acceptance of gay people in Nigeria despite the anti-gay laws. According to the report, there have been a 7 percent increase in acceptance of LGBT people, and a 9 percent rise to 39 percent of those surveyed who think that LGBT people should be allowed equal access to public services such as healthcare, education and housing.
