Cameroonian man confesses to stabbing another Cameroonian to death in Maryland, USA


On May 5 2017, a 19-year-old Cameroonian, Jean Marie Acha was stabbed to death in Greenbelt, Maryland, USA.

Police have now revealed that, a man who was arrested for a different crime has confessed to stabbing and killing Jean Marie Acha during a physical altercation.

Detectives said Rodrick Achue Cheg, 20, of Greenbelt, was arrested on an unrelated warrant and said he stabbed Jean Marie Acha.

Officers found Acha with multiple stab wounds in the 7200 block of South Ora Court on May 5, police said.

Cheg was charged with first-degree murder, second-degree murder, first-degree assault and second-degree assault. He is being held at the Department of Correction without bail.
